Testing the OM30
I recently bought an old Olympus OM30, dating from the mid 1980s. It was a short-lived model and now quite rare, or unpopular! The default mode is aperture priority and that's what I used for the test film. It can shoot fully manual, maybe another day.
Vancouver streets are my go to for my film foray's and this was no different. I'm pleased with some of the images, a bit frustrated with others - not quite the clarity I was expecting. That may well be me as there are some great, sharp frames to admire as well.
The final few frames were at a Maple Ridge show 'n' Shine and I'm really pleased with the Beetle/Bug and Rolls Royce captures. Seems like I was starting to get more from this old Olympus consumer level SLR with its cheap black and white film.
