Grouse Mountain – the missing ski post

I have never downhill skied. My only experience of life on slippery stuff has been confined to flirting with ice stakes a few times and a Nordic adventure on cross-country skis where I discovered that it’s possible to reverse down hill even when one doesn’t want to. With Grouse Mountain only 30 minutes drive from home, trying skiing seemed like an interesting if not scary thought. But, the thing is I’ve become somewhat hooked, despite being a total novice, it’s quite an exhilarating experience. So despite only getting in 3 or 4 sessions before last seasons close, we’ve purchased season tickets for 08/09. Expect more updates from the slopes during the winter.
